I almost forgot

I almost for got to tell everyone, I have had a layout excepted in Scrapbook creations, not sure what issue, but I will keep everyone posted. The layout is waterbabe.

Another big week!

This week has been so frantic and draining, and I haven't been feeling 100%. I even went to the doctors cause I was feeling so unwell. I have had heaps of blood tests done and they are checking everything. I have found a big lump under my arm and I also have a lump in my throat making it hard to swallow. So hopefully something turns up in the blood tests. And to top it off Ella has also been unwell this week, with yucky eyes, nose and a cough. So she has been on meds since Thursday. Ella hasn't been at daycare all week, I really needed the break this week when I was feeling crappy, but you get that when your a mother its a 24 hour a day job.

On a brighter not all those cards I made on Thursday, got sold at the carnival tonight, was very happy about that, and the school uniform shop wants me to make more and sell them.

Another happy thing I got Chris a job at the bakery here on Sat and Sunday mornings, the problem is its a 6am start. But he had a great first day at work.

I also have been scrapping again, I have completed another 2 layouts
Another double layout this one was for a challenge to use 5 buttons, paint and doodling and I also added my own little challenge to it no patterned paper. I just love it.

wouldn't normally use all little photos but I do quite like it.

Another layout!!

Oh got some great news today I have made in into the next round for the last scrapper standing, at foreveralways
The next stage of the challenge is to create 5 layouts by November 6th I think.
I'm over the moon to make it to the next stage.......

I am deffently on a scrapping roll
Here is one for a challenge at Foreveralways
The challenge was do a layout with
1. No stamping and I thought cool I dont have very many stamps anyway.
2. use a song title. I used my fave song at the moment, Big girls dont cry.
3. leave no white spaces.

I think it turned out fantastic. Very messy, lots of paint,buttons, staples and lots of scraps, oh and doodling and ribbon. oh and I tried out 12x6 size layout and I like that size.

I have just about had enough here, with this flaming headache and these kids, they just dont understand when I say I have a headache I have a headache.
I will remember this when they are sick, I will make lots of noise and dance around yelling and screaming too.

New layout !!

Wow I have scrapped again.
Just a quick post tonight as I have had this shocker of a headache today that I just can get rid off, but I did manage to do this layout. I had to it was due by midnight tonight.
This is for a last scrapper standing contest over at foreveralways
Lots of doodling, the challenge was to do a page about me and use 5 Heidi Swapp things. I do love how it turned out.

Its been 11 days since my last post

And I'm sorry, life's been a bit hectic in these neck of the woods, kids are back and school which as been good.
I have been scrapping a bit this week and cleaning the house. I even clean my scrapping area and now i cant find anything. don't you hate that.

I decided to do some random facts about me that people might not know
here is 8 of them
1. I am originally from Adelaide and now I live in Goondiwindi a small town 4.5 hours from Brisbane.
2. I had heart failure after I had my 4th child and it wasn't picked up till she was a week old.
3. I met my hubby by putting an ad in the paper over 11 years ago and we have been together ever since.
4. I have been scrapping for 10 years.
5. I have 4 kids and a dog named Gundi after Goondiwindi.
6. I am 5'5 and overweight.............
7. I walk everywhere as I don't drive.
8. there is 13 years difference between my first child and my last one.

Update on Brock
We ended up going to Toowoomba for a 5 mins doctors appt. I was not happy driving 2.5 hours there and 2.5 hours back. Well the doctor gave the all clear for the hearing aid, but the bad news is he cant get it put on till the 18th of December, not very happy as they only take 2 weeks to make. So he will get it put in on the school holidays and wont really know if it works properly till school starts. Story of my life.

Oh well here is some of my scrapping pages.

Just 1 smile layout with only card stock lots of doodling and my felt owl isn't she the cutest

Wonder I made my own journal spot by using 2 circle punches.
I will put up the step by step in the next couple of days.

A couple new layouts

I have been a bit busy and scrapping up a storm, I have done 2 double layouts since monday and Im stocked with both of them

And the next one is for a challenge for the shop here in Goondiwindi

I think this one turned out ok.

We are off to Toowoomba tomorrow for Brock to see the Ear nose and throat doctor, a 3 hour drive for a letter to get the hearing aid, lets hope they want to do the surgery that needs to be done soon. We will see what he says.
