Some layouts

Sunday start of another week, I have been scrapping this week and managed to do a layout with 56 buttons on there, all hand sewn, remind me never again to do that.
And here is another one I did for a survivor contest over at TallyScrapper
This was my week 1 challenge and I had to use bling and Doodling. I used lots of glitter glue and lots of doodling and Heidi swap bling words and some buttons. I just love this photo of Ella on her first Xmas.


I am in the process of doing week 2 challenge and you have to distress a photo, use paint and use the quote She just had this way of brightening the day. Now that quote is a hard one. I really want to finish that today.
Not much else happening today apart from scrapping and I have a few cards to make and washing.
Oh I did manage to watch the first episode of Greys straight from the US this morning and wow it was good

Wednesday again!!

Another half of the week gone again.

Monday we went to Toowoomba for Brock to have his hearing test and the news was not good, Brock needs to get a hearing aid ASAP, bit of a shock but that's ok, we will cope. I managed to get to spotlight when I was in Toowoomba and could have spent the whole day there just looking, I did by a few goodies, bazzil, the best scrapbooking pen ever its called The Scrapbook pen and its made by francheville and its real cheap $4.00 and i just think its the best pen its perement and doesn't smudge even lets you draw on photos. I also got some chipboard shapes, felt and some dimensional paint.

Ella had her chicken pox needle yesterday and has been off her food and drinks since, hope she gets better tomorrow as its daycare for her tomorrow. I need a day for just me.............

Today I took the kids swimming and I warned them it was real cold but of course they wouldnt listen, the water was freezing.

Better update!

where does the time go, I just cant work it out, Thursday was a great scrapping day for me I completed a mini album a whole 14 pages, I am so pround of myself, here is it, thanks Cindy for putting in in one file for me. Lots of doodling, button, flowers, just lots of everything.

Had a busy weekend with work and I have started another layout, hope to finished that today sometime.
Tomorrow we are off to take Brock for his big hearing test, hope its better than the last one, but I don't think it will be.

Fun day

I want to say thanks to everyone that has been checking out my blog and leaving comments, it means so much.
Me and Ella had a great day today, there was a playgroup in the park today and there was about 40 kids aged from 1 to 5, there was all sorts of things for the kids to do there.
Painting canvases, colouring in, jumping castle, face painting and playdoe. Ella has a ball but didnt sit still at anything, next year when she is older it will be better, but we had fun.

Yesterday I did some scrapping and i will give you a sneak peak
Another double layout, and I have a mini circle album that I have just started, so hope to finish that tomorrow when Ella is at daycare.

Its Monday again!

Another weekend gone, wow where does the time go?
Been a bit busy around here on the weekend, didnt do much scrapping, but did heaps around the house. I also found this great US scrapping forum TallyScrapper you can find them http://www.tallyscrapper.com/board.php
its a real fun site where you can give out points to peoples layouts and posts. Go check it out, I have posted a few of my layouts over there.
I am working on a new double layout, have hand cut all the scallop borders, now that took some time. Wish I could get my hands on the big scallop scissors that they can get over in the US.

What a day!!

Wow what a day!! I let home at 8am to walk Brock to school then had to be home by 9am for Ella to be picked up by her family daycare mum. Then I had to leave here for a job interview at 10 am.
Then I went to pick up a birthday present for one of Brocks friends, and the lady at the toy shop was asking me all these questions about making cards, and I said I make all of my own. She then asked me to bring in some samples. Sweet I am thinking to myself.
So I go home and some some cards.









At 2pm I walked back down to the toy shop and she said she will take all three and asked me to make mini gift cards and she will buy them off me. Then I rushed to pick Brock and as I was running late, lucky he is the last boy out of class, then I rushed home again to have Ella dropped off. WOW . How cool, so I am going to design some cards tonight while I am watching TV.

What a big day, for everyone I don't drive I walk everywhere so my poor feet are so sore today, from one side of town to the next.

Here is Miss Ella with here hair real funky, she never lets me brush her hair and a couple of nights ago she let me, so I went mad and put lots of hair ties and plats in here hair.

Wow its Wednesday allready!!

Wow where does the week go.
So far this week I have been a bit sick, I have come down with another nose head cold thingy, that gives me shocking heads for days, its been around since last Friday night. Oh well if it gets any worse I will go to the doctors.

Brock had dress up day on Monday and went dressed as Harry Potter and he even won a medal for his group reading the best. I am so proud of Brock, for anyone that doesn't know about Brock he was born with no hearing in his right ear, but we didn't find out till he was 2 1/2 years old, when I pestered the doctors so much about him not talking. This week he has had another hearing test and now his left ears hearing is getting worse, so off to a peadiatic hearing specialist in Toowoomba in a couple of weeks. The school is also saying he isn't doing to good at school, so he had to be assessed by a phsyoligst this week as well, so this week has been a bit stressful.

Ella on the other hand has had a great week this week, is really growing up, saying more words, her latest ones are nummy num (yummy), ball, bath, hat woof, dog, tiss(chris or kiss) bro bro (Brock)
And Chris lest not get me started on him, just a typical teenage boy..............LOL.

I have done a double page layout which I cant show anyone yet, but i will take a sneak peak photo later on.

Here is a couple photos from my camera, Brock's photos from the other day are on robs and he is at work, here is miss Ella with her funky hair. Which I will upload later as I have to cook dinner as no one else will

I know Im a bad blogger

Wow what a few weeks it has been. Rob has been home on holidays and I just didnt have any of my time to do anything. I hate when hubbys are home.
Ella has been a bit off as well these last few weeks. Now that rob is back at work again I can get into a routine.
I havent done any scrapping, but hopefully I will get into it again soon.
Will start doing my photos again, tomorrow I hope.
